In every election in America, candidates joust over the debate schedule. It happens at the presidential level and in lesser races across the nation. It is easy to dismiss the gamesmanship over debate schedules as just another political ruckus. But in Oregon this year, the debate question is vital, because of the unique contrast between the two major candidates.
