Macpherson flings hat into L.O. mayoral race
A Portland-based attorney and former state representative plans to run for Lake Oswego mayor.
Greg Macpherson, a Stoel Rives LLP employee benefits specialist, will seek the post held by Jack Hoffman. Hoffman, a Dunn Carney Allen Higgins & Tongue LLP land use attorney, announced last month he won’t seek reelection.
Macpherson most recently lost to John Kroger in the 2008 Oregon Attorney General Democratic primary.
While Lake Oswego city candidates can raise money, they technically can’t file papers announcing their intent until August...
