Oregon close to statewide hiring freeze
The state of Oregon is close to implementing a statewide hiring freeze.
The state may also suspend new enrollments in the Oregon Health Plan and suspend “all non-critical expenditures” in all agencies, as per the request of legislative leaders.
Sen. Richard Devlin, a Tualatin Democrat, joined representatives Peter Buckley and Dennis Richardson in recommending that Gov.
