Oregon gives lawmakers so-so marks
Most Oregon voters aren’t sure exactly how well the legislature performed during the 2011 session. A poll released Tuesday by Portland-based Riley Research Associates found that 39 percent of the state’s voters were “neutral or not sure” about how well House and Senate members fared this year. The legislature’s favorability rating was 28 percent, unchanged from July 2009. Another 33 percent gave the legislature an “unfavorable” mark, down from 34 percent in July 2009 and 39 percent in May 2009...
