Kitzhaber touts 2011 legislative wins
Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber Friday called the state’s approval of two health care measures, which he repeatedly cited as priorities during the just-completed 2011 session, a personal triumph. Kitzhaber made the pronouncement just before signing one of the measures, which would establish more coordinated care programs for patients in the Oregon Health Plan.
