Parties object to being abbreviated on Oregon ballot
Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown plans to use three-letter abbreviations for Oregon's political parties on the ballot this November. Her office says the party names need to be squeezed because of a space crunch. The parties aren't happy about having someone fiddle with their brand names.
