Mud flies in District 37 race

All three candidates in the Democratic primary for Oregon House District 37 say that the campaigning just got dirty. They disagree, however, about who’s doing the mudslinging.

In a jointly released statement earlier this week, Joelle Davis and Gerritt Rosenthal called out their opponent Will Rasmussen for, they say, sending out mailers and making phone calls to voters that wrongly suggested he is the only pro-choice candidate in the race. Both Davis and Rosenthal are pro-choice.

District 37 includes Tualatin, West Linn and the Stafford area.
