Oregon Clean Fuels law upheld by federal judge in blow to oil lobby
A federal judge on Thursday dismissed an attempt to block the rollout of Oregon's Clean Fuels bill.
U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken upheld the law that first passed in 2009. The bill requires a 10 percent reduction of carbon emissions in the the state's fuel by 2025. It was extended by the 2015 Oregon Legislature, avoiding a sunset written in its first iteration.
