Oregon gets a D+ on gun control a year after Clackamas
A year ago Wednesday, a gunman walked into Clackamas Town Center and opened fire with an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle, killing two people and seriously injuring a third before turning the weapon on himself.
A year later, as shoppers flock to the mall for their Christmas shopping, a vigil will be held for the victims. And a year later, Oregon has not enacted any new laws regulating firearms.
