With OEA ad campaign, union help for Kitzhaber tops $2 million
Organized labor has now poured more than $2 million into Democrat John Kitzhaber's general election race for Oregon governor. The biggest player is the Oregon Education Association, which has spent nearly $950,000 on ads promoting Kitzhaber and criticizing his opponent, Republican Chris Dudley.
