LNG Developer Throws in Towel

Willamette Week:

Northern Star Natural Gas has been trying to get a liquefied natural gas terminal built on the Oregon coast (in Clatsop County) for quite some time. This week citing "extended delays" and a "difficult investment environment ", Northern Star bailed out.

In reality, Northern Star met with heavy resistance from locals and others around the state.
