Portland business leaders happy with mayoral options

Portland’s business community has delivered a mostly positive verdict in the mayor's race following Tuesday’s election.

After Portland voters winnowed down the number of 23 candidates — really, they narrowed the field of three front-runners to two, knocking Eileen Brady out of the running — some prominent business leaders are saying that either of the general election combatants Charlie Hales and Jefferson Smith could be a positive force for the business community.
