Obama to visit Roseburg on Friday

On Friday, President Barack Obama will visit Roseburg to "visit privately with families of victims" of the shooting last week at Umpqua Community College.
It's an all-too-common occurrence for the mourner-in-chief. He also visited with families in Aurora, Colorado and Newtown, Connecticut -- and gave a powerful eulogy in Charleston, South Carolina.
Predictably, the lunatic fringe is losing its mind. David Jaques who runs a right-wing blog in Roseburg told Bill O'Reilly that the President wasn't welcome, because he's going to "stand on the corpses of our loved ones and make some kind of political point."
That's gross.
The President of the United States will be on hand to grieve with the families of those killed, and to console those who were injured. That's a perfectly appropriate role for any president in a national tragedy. Even in Roseburg.
