The clown car that is that Oregon Republican Party continues to provide hilarity.
Update: Rather than face a recall vote, state GOP chair Suzanne Gallagher resigned on Friday night. This weekend, GOP leaders will pick a new chair. How bad can it get? Stay tuned.
Original post below.
On Saturday, the Oregon GOP will meet -- and along with the planned business (platform writing), they'll be voting on whether to eject their state party chairwoman, Suzanne Gallagher. Amidst allegations of financial mismanagement and improper hiring practices, 23 of the state's 36 county party chairs haved signed a recall petition, according to the O's Christan Gaston.
Of course, if Gallagher is out, will anyone want the job?
All this is making Allen Alley look like a paragon of executive leadership.
