Happy Halloween!
Kari Chisholm
Every two years, Halloween lands just a few days before Election Day.
With that mind, check out this latest spooky, scary video from Defend Oregon.
Also, the good folks over at the Bus Project are once again doing Trick or Vote canvassing. After all, what other day can you expect voters to be home and happily answering the door?
And it's not just an Oregon thing anymore. Trick or Vote is nationwide. From OPB, the Bus Project's Shawn Fleek:
"And Trick-or-Vote, which is yearly Halloween event, is the largest non-partisan get out the vote effort in the entire country. So we call all of those supporters that we've met in any different venue where we've gone and we say 'Hey, have you got any plans for Halloween this year? Because we'd love for you to come to the largest non-partisan get out the vote effort in the country.'"
There's more - from the Colorado Daily, Red Eye Chicago, the Detroit News, the Kansas City Star, Seattle Weekly, and the Missoulian.
