Cameos from Hales & Smith in student-produced school bond video

Last week, the Portland School Board voted unanimously to put a $482-million bond measure on the November ballot. The bond would substantially rebuild and modernize Grant, Franklin, and Roosevelt high schools, as well as Faubion K-8. It would also make safety upgrades - seismic, roofs, accessibility - to over 30 elementary, middle, and high schools; and upgrade science classrooms at middle schools throughout the district.
This video was produced by 2012 Cleveland High graduate Sutton Raphael and features Cleveland sophomore Emma Rosen as the narrator.
It's also got cameos by mayoral candidates Charlie Hales and Jefferson Smith (as well as Commissioner-elect Steve Novick.) Check it out.
