President Obama in Portland, July 24
Kari Chisholm
It's been over a year since President Obama has been to Oregon. But he's headed back on July 24 for a fundraiser at the Portland Art Museum.
Over at the O, Jeff Mapes reports that there won't be any public events scheduled that day.
General admission tickets are $500, though there's an option for $250 tickets for folks under 40. Tickets are now available at BarackObama.com.

Of course I know the answer, but isn't Obama just "using Oregon like an ATM" Kari? http://www.blueoregon.com/2012/05/mitt-romney-uses-oregon-atm-cant-be-bothered-mere-voters/

Sure. But Romney's been here three times in a row (at least) without meeting any voters. President Obama's last several visits here included public appearances.
And while $250 is nothing to sneeze at, it's 10% of the minimum $2500 to get in to see Romney.

Also, President Obama has a day job. that keeps him pretty busy.
Mitt Romney, as he likes to tell us, is "unemployed". He has fewer excuses for grabbing the cash and running.

I'm down to my last $250. I'll have to read about it on the live news feed.

And I am sure Portland's mayor is bent out of shape over the costs of security, just like he was when a GOP debate was scheduled here?
Unless he is a hypocrite, that is.

Your prime time players decided Oregon wasn't worth it and cancelled.

Since this isn't a public appearance, the City should bill the campaign for any police overtime.
