In state treasurer's race, it's Ted Wheeler -- by a huge margin.

There was no public polling in the state treasurer's race. While both candidates were stumping hard around the state, and both made it on television, their campaigns were largely dwarfed by the federal races and the governor's race.
Going into election night, it would be hard to make a data-based prediction (though our punditologists largely expected a Wheeler win.)
At latest count (8:38 a.m.), Wheeler is beating Chris Telfer 53.2% to 41.9%. Not even remotely close.
And now, it's back to work for the numbers guy - this time with the confidence that the voters have ratified his appointment back in March.
"I've been working very hard since the day I took office, and it will be a relief to have the campaign off the table," Wheeler said. "We can now get to the hard work of moving Oregon's economy forward, putting Oregonians back to work and putting the state's financial house in order."
