The Day After: tracking the results
Kari Chisholm
In Oregon, election day doesn't mean "find out what happened". It means "if there's a big win, we'll find out - but if your race involves Multnomah County, you'll have to wait for a day or two."
Here's what we're tracking:
-
The close race for Governor. Dudley leads, but not for long. Updated 2:14 p.m.
-
The possible 15/15 tie in the Oregon Senate and 30/30 tie in the Oregon House. Lots of races still to be decided. Updated 3:16 p.m.
-
Big wins for Senator Ron Wyden, and Congressmen Kurt Schrader, Peter DeFazio, and David Wu.
-
A huge win for State Treasurer Ted Wheeler as Oregonians ratify his appointment.
-
Ballot measures - yes to annual sessions, more prisons, and parks; no to casinos and marijuana.
-
I've got a roundup of local races around the state, including Metro President and county commission races in Yamhill, Clackamas, Washington, and Multnomah.
Comments are closed on this post - but wide open on all of the above.
