Take five
Jeff Golden
Five minutes. That's all I want. Even if there's plenty about how the world really works that this video doesn't show. Even if it's guaranteed to draw comments that this does not belong on BO because it plays right into Dick Cheney's hopes that we stay distracted and passive. I'm asking for five minutes away from all that.
(Headphones if you got 'em.)
That didn't hurt, did it?

Beautiful. I received this link as an email from a niece or nephew a while ago. Uplifting. The only negative is the word "Change" in the title. That word has been badly damaged much as "Compassionate" was.

Beats the hell out of Kumbaya! It is valuable to pause and consider that, in a world of injustice, given our limited time and resources, that we can attack the aggressor or support and unite with the victim. The former is much easier to get motivated about, but the latter often brings greater relief.
Too bad RNM's b'day is the first week of February. Would make a nice, annual, "One Love" march.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful orginization. The "PLC" group were kind enough to allow me to use their music " Stand By Me" for presentation on homelessness in Clackamas County.

I like the melody and lyrics of the song. Helping each other is very important in solving a problem.
