Replacing Baird: Couv gone wild
Carla Axtman
If I click my heels together three times and promise to be good, can I PLEASE have this for Christmas?
Jon was too shy to name names, but the “well-known Republican personality” rumored to be weighing a run to replace Rep. Brian Baird in WA-03 is none other than crazy-conservative talk host Lars Larson.
Not bloody likely..but still....a girl can dream.
There's apparently a lot of interest in the seat from a number of Democrats, if the Clark County Dems meeting is to be believed.
Update: 10:05AM: Jeff Mapes has the announcement of Jaime Herrera, R-Ridgefield for the seat.

Dear Lars: Please run. America needs you. Now, more than ever. Thanks! -kari.

The good news might be, that when a similar fellow in Seattle ran for office, his employers at wack-job KVI radio required him to go off the air during the campaign (which he lost). From that standpoint, I would like Lars to run now and run again for every office into the next four decades, and stay off the radio the whole time.

When Lars flirted with running for governor in 2002, he was likewise told he'd have to go off the air because KXL wasn't willing to meet the equal time requirements for other candidates. I assume that hasn't changed.

Carla, if you think Lars Larson would seriously entertain running for office I have some beach front property in Arizona I'd like to talk to you about.
Geez girl, are you nuts? Seriously? You think Lars would give up his fat cat radio gig for a congressional seat? The fact is the more Democratics there are in congress the deeper the butter on his bread.
If you can't see that simple truth, I don't understand why they let you bloviate on here.

For someone reason, you just don't fit the "Dorthy" of Oz image.
Frau Farbissina, is much closer to you and your BO Fembots.

Why would you want him to leave his job. He manages to reinforce on a daily basis why not intelligent human being would ever vote for a republican.

People need to remember that the 3rd not only encompasses Clark County, but also Skamania, Cowlitz, Lewis, Wahkiakum, Pacific and half of Thurston.
Candidates will probably emerge from those places also.

Interesting that you all are considering that if right wing talk radio didn't exist, you'd have to invent it.

Call me skeptical, but sasquatch is more likely to emerge from those places than a progressive Dem! Mind you, he/she'd have my vote. End species chauvinism!
