Thanks Jeff, I noticed this too.
BTW, Karol's "Patriotic or not" title is giving a 404 "no such page" message from the "all posts" list, which is generally what I use, though I now find it's visible on the BO homepage. Not sure what's up with that.

Karol's post is now fixed. I don't think it's a related problem. This seems to happen to her (and only her) about every three months. Go figure.

RW --- The commenting delay problem was unrelated to the Karol's missing post problem (which is now fixed.) We're working with TypePad to sort out the commenting delay problem

It really looks like you deleted a whole topic with no placeholder.
Some of that "ramble" was based on good science.
