Ok, this is just sick.
CNN has just moved Arizona into the "toss up" category in the most recent poll of polls.
Isn't that John McCain's home state?
Remember this song by the Surfaris?

Realclearpolitics.com still has AZ in "leaning McCain" but has put Georgia in the "toss-up" list.

I'll worry if Kansas goes Obama.
"Kansas, a good place to be from" - Obama, emphasis added!

I don't see it. Pollster.com has the trend analysis at McCain +6.4. Even the high-sensitivity trend is at McCain +3.7.

Stuff happens. Gore lost his home state, or we would be having a very different conversation.

One poll out yesterday had Obama within 2. Today McCain is running robo-calls in Arizona. So he's worried, and with reason.

I agree with Bill. Seems to me that the fact that McSame is running robo-calls in Arizona argues pretty strongly that AZ is tighter than Pollster's analysis indicates.

I just moved back to Oregon after 4 years in Arizona. I can tell you he is not the most liked person there anymore. Many feel he sold the state out with McCain-Kennedy. Just because the media is ignoring immigration, the people at ground zero are not. They get as worked up about illegals as you libs do when someone cuts down a tree here.

Loved the music, Paul! Brought back memories from high school and college.
Will send the link to this to a friend who just moved to Arizona and will be voting there.

"McCain Now Running Robocalls Attacking Obama In Home State Of Arizona! By Greg Sargent - October 29, 2008, 5:38PM
John McCain and the Republican National Committee are now running robocalls attacking Obama as weak on terrorism -- in McCain's home state of Arizona, according to multiple readers from the state.
The call signals genuine worry about McCain's home state at a time when several polls show the race to be much closer than expected there.
McCain's robocall, which was played to us over the phone by Mary Joe Bartel, a retiree who lives south of Tucson, attacks Obama as unprepared to defend the country from terrorism, singling out Joe Biden's recent remarks about the likelihood of Obama being tested by an international crisis early in his first term.
Here's the script:

Republicans are pretty desperate here in Oregon.
We received a robocall the other day from the Republican Party, and Andy has been receiving mail from them. Funny thing is he switched away from the Republican Party this past spring.
Either they're trying to get Republicans to come back, or they're using a really old list.

McSame's home state is actually... Panama!
A foreign country.

Its fun to see the Rebublicans scramble. You say wipe out. I can see the Replicans song being its the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

It starts with an earthquake.
