So, is McCain's flashing tie meant to distract from his vacuous answers?

Anyone notice McCain isn't wearing a flag pin? :D

Watched it on CBS. CBS unlike some other networks did have the split screen.
First, McCain rarely looked at Obama when Obama was answering a question.
Second, McCain's responses came across as prefaced by some personal story followed by a campaign talking point.
Third, McCain rolled Obama up on Iran in the end when he recanted Obama's suggestion of sitting down with Ahmadinejad.
Fourth, Obama knocked McCain out early on. Obama was pushing on specifics while McCain kept on talking existentially about the "American Dream" and "American Worker", while not differentiating himself from Bush.
In my opinion, Obama rolled to an early win while McCain recouped his losses with the Iran segment on.
The polls will show a tie because rural voters and more than a few older voters (many of whom only have a high school education) will not vote for a Black man.
