A Palin I could support
Leslie Carlson
Based on this video, I think even John McCain would consider him qualified.

And think of the excellent advisors he'd have around him, with the remaining Monty Python gang.

Palin is NO Hillary and she is certainly NOT an alternative to Obama-Biden
As one of the 300 petition signers and a committed supporter of Hillary Clinton I am insulted and appalled by the selection of Ms. Palin as a Vice Presidential candidate for Mr. McCain. This is just a shameless effort to insult the intelligence and wisdom of women voters across America.
To add insult to injury Ms. Palain likens herself to Senator Clinton. I have known Mrs. Clinton for many years and trust me Ms. Palin is NO Hillary!
Hundreds of thousands of women in America supported Hillary Clinton because she offered us hope for a better future. I, like many other women, was never against Senator Obama; I just liked Senator Clinton better.
The primary is over and the race is now a clear choice, between more of the same or real change. Senator's Obama and Biden have my unqualified support along with the support of millions of women across this great country.
I have one simple message for women in Oregon and women across this country. Don't be duped! The race for presidency has only one option for you and your future. We must all stand behind, beside and in front of our Democratic Nominees. You must walk door to door, make phone calls and talk to everyone you know. There is no other choice for us or our children, our communities and our country. We must be united and clear. Obama and Biden are the only option that makes any sense for all of us.

Bravo Mary.
And thanks Leslie for one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.
With a hat tip to Mudflats, a terrific Alaska blog, remember: “Jesus was a Community Organizer, and Pontias Pilate was a Governor.”

NOBODY expects the Governor of Alaska! My chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... My two weapons are fear and surprise... and ruthless efficiency.... My three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency... and an almost fanatical devotion to the G.O.P.... My four... no... Amongst my weapons... Amongst my weaponry... are such elements as fear, surprise... I'll come in again.

But the real question is: would he establish a Department of Silly Walks?

Mary, with all do respect, if you spent more time reading accredited sources, you'd realize that Obama has less experience than McCain and certainly less experience than Obama. You're worried about a heart beat away from Palin when the reality she has done more, been involved more in issues that truly matter to Blue Collar working Americans than Obama who just cleared $4 million dollars last year. Obama has ZERO Executive or budgetary experience, both of which Palin has. And if you're concerned about a Governor with limited experience being elected to a high office, please see(Jimmy Carter). Doubt your pride would admit that being a mistake, huh??

Paul,
With all due respect, I'd be curious to know what specific issues that truly matter to Blue Collar working Americans you believe Palin has worked for an accomplished. We can then discuss the merits of her works and compare/contrast them with those of Obama.
Personally, I agree with Leslie. Michael Palin has definitely had more experience with foreign affairs.

Let's try that again with fewer errors:
