77% in favor of 49 so far in Multnomah County. Looking good. 50 is only at 55 percent in Multnomah, and will probably go down in flames.

Measure 49 is currently winning by a 2-1 margin in Yamhill County. If no on 49 isn't competitive in Yamhill County, they have no chance statewide. Measure 50 s losing by the same margin that 49 is winning by.

I love this site and am ecstatic that 49 has passed, although I do find it unfortunate that Google ads have decided to place a no on 49 campaign ad at the top of the page. Thank you to all who have worked so hard on this campaign

This is great news--way to go everyone who put in hours for this campaign! Your blood, sweat, tears, and love of all things green have paid off handsomely for us all. Thanks!

Sonya -- That's one of the challenges of Google Ads. They're sometimes contextual, but oh so very wrong. It's just doing keyword-matching. (Like trying to sell us pro-Bush t-shirts on posts calling for impeachment.)
Go ahead and click on the ads. Every time you do, a nickel or more gets transferred from the bad guys to the BlueOregon fund that pays for the Fellow.

I figured M49 would be close in Baker, I disputed a friend's prediction it would lose big and worst in the state. This pleases me.

Halle-freakin'-lujah! The important one passed.
Now we gotta get back to the drawing board on health care.

Thank the sky pixie. Nice to see the door knocking in my precint here in Washington County has, in some small way, payed off big time. WashCo. has been the hardest hit with 37 claims (most are total crap ones I might add) and it is gratifying to see 49 take 37 down hard, and with astounding numbers.

Trishka:
Not surprising as when I went and looked at the M37 results from 2004, Benton County was the only county to vote no. Multnomah County was just over 51%.
I have the comparisons between the M37 and M49 votes. I think the most interesting part is the counties that completely flipped their vote, such as voting 65% in favor M37, but then 65% in favor of M49.

You can see it here. Thanks to Blue Oregon for helping me find all the counties' results.
