Obama Rally Tops 2,000; Additional Tickets Now Available
Charlie Burr
The response to Friday's Obama Countdown to Change Rally at the Oregon Convention Center has been overwhelming. Late yesterday, we sold the last of the 2,000 tickets for the event.
Due to extremely strong demand, we're moving into a bigger space at the Convention Center and adding capacity for an extra 1,000 tickets. If you tried to purchase tickets last night or this morning, additional tickets are now available at: Barack Obama.

As Matthew mentioned, people should bring their email confirmation with them to the event. The campaign will also have a list of those who've registered online at the door.
Any tickets left for the rally will be sold at the Convention Center event.

I printed my ticket tonight and am headed up to Portland. I was hoping for more then 2,000. It seems like a pretty small gathering. Maybe it's just me. Either way it should be fun.

Just so everyone knows, because of strong interest and ticket sales, the 8:00 p.m. event now has a 5,000 person capacity. They want to make sure everyone who wants to see Senator Obama gets to hear his speech tommorrow.
