Riiiight. Because when Bush visits San Francisco, he just hops on the ol' cable car...or hitchhikes. Absolutely no protection plan needed. What a witty and insightful commentary on both the operational security of our Commander-In-Chief's travel protocol and the inherent dangers of visiting a WAR ZONE.
You guys are an impressive team. So tell me, when Pelosi visits Iraq, does she put up posters three weeks in advance, along with every stop on her photo-op intinery? I guess we could always ask Syria. Seems she popped in there to kiss up a bit.

Nice cartoon..I was thinking the "alternate ending" would be Bush in a bubble, since he seems to only hear what is going on around him.

Who crapped in your Wheaties this morning, Dan.
Well, when Bush goes to San Francisco, he's able to announce it in advance.
I guess it should be noted for people like Dan that it's been nearly five years since shrub and his codpiece declared "Mission Accomplished," yet Bush still has to sneak around unannounced and slink into Iraq in the middle of the night.
Johnson was able to visit Vietnam more openly. Quite a success story for "the surge."
