Is Gordon Smith vulnerable?
OPB has been busy launching great new interactive features on their website. The latest is the Town Square - and it's exactly what you think: a place for discussion and conversation about the issues facing our state.
And they're wondering if Gordon Smith is vulnerable.
Is he tied too closely to the Bush Administration and the Republican Party to attract the moderate Oregon Democrats he needs? Is his change of heart on the Iraq war genuine or just a campaign ploy? And, probably most important, can the Democrats field a credible candidate to challenge the two-term incumbent?
Head on over there to participate.
And while you're at it - go make a small $5 donation to Peter DeFazio. And do it via this Draft DeFazio page so he knows why.
