Email everyone you know: Today is the day.
This is your last chance to register to vote. All voter registration forms must be postmarked and mailed today.
Email everyone you know and remind them. Especially if they've moved since November 2004.
The form and instructions are here.
There's nothing worse than wanting to vote and not being able to. This year's campaigns in Oregon - governor, legislature, ballot measures, and more - are going to all be very close. Every vote will count.
(Anybody remember the recount in Washington in 2004? Chris Gregoire won by 129 votes out of 2.74 million cast.)

Thanks for the timely reminder, Kari, but we should let everybody know that today is NOT the deadline for changes of address or name changes.
If you've been previously registered to vote in Oregon, to make those changes, you're not re-registering - you're just updating your registration - and you can do that right up to the last minute on Election Day, November 7 (albeit by then, you'll have to get to your county clerk's office and do it there).
For answers to every question anyone might have about voting, registering, etc., visit: www.oregonvotes.org or call 1-866-ORE-VOTES (866-673-8683).
And now for the disclaimer: yes, I am the Chief of Communications for the Secretary of State. And I can officially state that Secretary Bradbury encourages everyone to register and VOTE!

Late night procrastinators!
The Bus Project office is still open and accepting registration cards. We're making an 11pm run to the airport post office, which will ensure a timely postmark.
Call us @ 503-233-3018 if you still need to get registered...
