Nice artwork, but you forgot the book that The Cheneys would like us all to forget.
It is called "Sisters" and it's a really terrible piece of lesbian soft-pornography written by none other than... The Queen of the Wingbats, Lyn Cheney.
The book is out of print (because Lyn likes it that way), but here is one of my favorite excerpts:
"Let us go away together, away from the anger and imperatives of men. We shall find ourselves a secluded bower where they dare not venture. There will be only the two of us, and we shall linger through long afternoons of sweet retirement. In the evenings I shall read to you while you work your cross-stitch in the firelight. And then we shall go to bed, our bed, my dearest girl."
Brought to you by the same woman who opposes gay marriage, even her darling daughter's!

These things just aren't that funny, or insightful. I've seen wittier cartoons in high school newspapers.

Thank you webmaster for removing the tasteless and offensive Minnis cartoon.

“These things just aren't that funny, or insightful.”
Agreed. The cartoon previous to this was just plain offensive. They also take space away from postings that provide interesting give and take between bloggers.
Please amend my reader survey to suggest dropping Malach’s cartoons altogether.

For the record:
I deleted the "Karen Minnis" cartoon because several people whose opinions I trust thought it was offensive. When the cartoon itself becomes the topic of discussion, rather than the point the cartoon was trying to make, then it's a failure and a distraction. It was an easy decision to pull the cartoon. It's just a drawing, I've got plenty more. There was never any pressure -- not even a hint of a wisp of a suggestion-- from anyone at BlueOregon or anywhere else to pull the cartoon. That was all me.
But -- Dick Cheney's closet full of Halliburton Ties -- now that's funny.

"But -- Dick Cheney's closet full of Halliburton Ties -- now that's funny." If you say so.

Hard to believe that given all the things going on in the Congress and the campaign trail in the last two days that folks actually felt that commenting on a political cartoon was an important thing to do. Personally, I think it speaks much more poorly about the commentators than about the cartoon. But I guess I always assume the personal and civic maturity level of a lot of folks is much higher than it really is.

"Hard to believe that given all the things going on in the Congress and the campaign trail..." that a below-par cartoon (skewering an issue already done to death) would take space on a site dedicated to serious political discussion. Thanks for participating, askquestions1st.

Sponge -
Obviously you're just a little too cognitively challenged to recognize the difference between commenting on the cartoon, and commenting on the social phenomena around the cartoon.

Askquestions1st, just stop. Please.
