Typepad crashed, some comments lost
blueoregon admin
Our apologies. The company that hosts BlueOregon - Typepad - crashed today for about six hours. During that time, posting and commenting wasn't possible. Worse, it appears that all posts and comments made from 12:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. PST were lost (everything that happened just prior to the crash.)
Very shortly, we're going to be able to restore the one post - by Cody Hoesly - but all comments made don't appear to be recoverable.
This is unacceptable to you, and to us. Rest assured that we're looking into the options for changing our service provider.
Most likely, we'll be moving BlueOregon from this hosted blog provider to the dedicated Mandate Media server. At least then, you'll know who to blame when it goes down. :)
