Where were you on National Organizing Day?
This Saturday, the Democratic Party is running a nationwide canvass, with over 1000 canvassing groups hoping to have 1 million at-the-doorstep conversations.
There are many local canvass opportunities set up here in Oregon. To find the closest one to you, go here and punch in your zip code.
To learn more about the operation, read the blog at Democrats.org.
(And, btw, the whole thing is organized nationally by Oregonian Jason Leon - a good friend of BlueOregon.)

If you're in Multnomah County, we have more than a dozen canvass locations across the area.
We'll canvass during the late morning/early afternoon hours and then head over to the Mall 205 area for some great food and socializing.
Visit www.multdems.org/april29 for more details.
We also have several volunteer opportunities surrounding the canvass for those who are unable to canvass or can't make it this weekend.
Contact me if you have any questions.
