Question: what good is this info supposed to do any of us? Why should we care what others make? Democrats should stop engaging in class warfare.

Dear Chuck,
Thanks for the link. That is a great source of information that will be very useful in my business.

Gee, JRA, let's see.... Exec of large corporation makes bad decisions, gets corp. into trouble, begs/threatens workers to take a pay cut to sve their jobs, corp. declares bancruptcy, wipes out employee pensions, gets million dollar bonus for "holding the company together through difficult times". And democrats are engaging in class warfare?

art: why go actively looking for executive salaries instead of just investigating corporarte misdeeds when they take place? To publicly post salaries of executives while suggesting "you have to watch out for these guys" is absurd. Yes, it is class warfare.
If I posted info on african-americans under the guise that they committ more crimes than whites, it would be racist. You're pre-judging a large group of people based on the misdeeds of a very few, and it's just wrong and stupid.

JRA: Actually, I think I'm post-judging, and what you seem to be calling the misdeeds of a few, assuming you are referring to my prior scenerio, aren't even considered misdeeds by the current power structure, just a routine way of doing business in the United Corporations of America. The 15 bucks an hour guy who actually produces the goods and/or services gets screwed, and the folks in charge of doing the screwing get massive rewards for doing it. And why shouldn't we pay attention to what they make? Frequently when there is a labor negotiation, the details of the worker are spelled out on the front page for all to criticize (or admire).
Now that I've rambled on, I think your original question asked what good was any of this information to any of us. I suppose it depends on which side of the class war you are. And to suggest that it is a war in which the Democrats are the agressors at this point is just wrong and stupid, to borrow a phrase.

Art, it seems you have a problem with capitalism. You might prefer a socialist system where all workers are paid the same, regardless of their skills.
A worker who makes $15 an hour does not have a very unique skill set. On the other hand, there is high demand for an executive who can increase profits of a business. Yes, some businesses lose money, but those execs usually don't last long. And some execs committ crimes for which they are punished.
The info is not any good to any of us. Class wars are wrong and unproductive. Just mind your own business.
