Should we revisit our land use laws?
Over at Land Use Watch, blogger Peter Bray is raising an important issue: What should land-use advocates do about Measure 37? After all, voters voted for something. Or were they just bamboozled?
I was surprised to hear that 1000 Friends is supporting legislation to offer “compensation” for property owners in some situations... This is a bad, bad idea.Let’s learn from the NRA. They are successful because they oppose ANY regulation of firearms. ... There should be no compromise on this issue.
Head on over to Land Use Watch to read the rest - and discuss over there.
