The G8 is now over. It proved to be yet another failed opportunity to actually make progress on global warming.
I do not think the tragic events in London changed the outcome of this, with the Bush Administration successfully getting what it wanted to happen - nothing.
Africa and global warming shared center stage at the G8. President Bush's position on human activity causing global warming, is like South Africa President Mbeke's position on HIV causing AIDs. Again, nothing doing.
