Do you know that it wasn't Halliburton that dealt with Iraq, but its French subsidiaries Dresser-Rand and Ingersoll Dresser Pump Co.? They were already selling parts to Iraq a year before Halliburton acquired them in 1998. To my knowledge, Halliburton did not violate any U.S. laws by owning these companies doing business with Iraq and D-R and DPCo didn't violate the U.N. oil for food program. But I could be wrong.

What are you talking about??? Do you think war is only to make money for corporations? Remember the quote by Eisenhower, "Beware the military-industrial complex".  The truth is in this farewell address, his aids modified what he had already written down which was "Beware the congressional military-industrial complex." Still this all has nothing to do with my original post that was confronting Al Franken's support of other wars that we should have not been involved in, let alone supporting groups which were then and still are classified by the state department as terrorist organizations.
