Is Jeb Bush planning something as commander of Florida's National Guard in the Schiavo ordeal?  Decide for yourselves...

Thanks to America Blog for the notification...true or not, it's not out of the realm of possibility.  Ironically, as of 9:03 p.m. PST, America Blog's site looks like it's been screwed with.

    Total 'feel' of it? I think the Jered's Yahoo post is probably true, he is in a unit and they do have an action tonight. (He says they 'take the hospice at 2300 EST,' which was an hour+ ago from this typing.) I think he's wrong about where his unit is going and what it's doing.

    And maybe fed the 'wrong' information to see how it spreads. John (Jeb) Bush is not sending them there, now. But he'd like to know the response all along the way up to the point he sends them, so he'd know what to expect when he does send the Guard there for that.

    That's my story and I'm sticking to it until facts interfere.

    Jason, it already happened. And Jeb's people were turned away by local police.

    From the AP:

    "We told them that unless they had the judge with them when they came, they were not going to get in," an unnamed local police source told the Herald. State officials Friday denied any showdown had occurred. "There was no showdown," said Jacob DiPietre, a spokesman for the governor's office. "We were ready to go. We didn't want to break the law. There was a process in place and we were following the process. The judge had an order and we were following the order."

    Actually, Kari, that was last Thursday's reported action by the Gov. of Florida. This is new information, dated yesterday.
