School is out for summer here in Australia and tomorrow we'll be heading to a beautiful beach in Royal National Park (the world's second after Yellowstone). But I'm not merely reveling in the joys of summer, I'm feeling for my fellow Oregonians deep in the short, grey, damp days of December (okay I've not checked the weather reports but my memory is of short, grey, damp December days).

The Northern Territory tourist board is giving away a fantastic outback holiday which I thought we be just the thing to perk up someone tired of cleaning moss from behind their ears.
