A voice worth hearing
Jack Bogdanski
Outspoken singer/songwriter Steve Earle will host his own radio show on Air America starting this Sunday, August 22nd, at 9 p.m. EDT. The show will be called "The Revolution Starts Now." (He has an album by the same name coming out on Tuesday.) Steve’s first guests will be director John Sayles and Bobby Muller, President of Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (VVAF).
XM radio channel 167 and Sirius channel 144 will broadcast the show nationwide. Here in Portland, the show is scheduled to be broadcast on KPOJ 620 AM. I'm not sure if it will be tape-delayed in Portland or not; I guess it could start anywhere from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., but more likely live at 6.
Earle is so lefty that he's been banned from the Portland Zoo. You gotta love the guy.
