One more time around...
blueoregon admin
Once again, we'll bounce around the net and note mentions of BlueOregon's launch. (Can you believe it's only been a week?)
First, the dead-tree media... We'll belatedly note that the Big O's Jonathan Nicholas pointed the way to BlueOregon in his Friday column.
On the one hand...
Scott Jensen: "I took a look at BlueOregon.com and thought it was pretty cool."
Jon Stahl: "This is exactly the kind of funny, smart, high-quality, local-scale grassroots journalism that we need to see lots more of. Where's BlueWashington?"
On the other...
751: "So far, BlueOregon has posted anti free market rants, political ramblings, boring bureaucracy, and last but not least, the much needed anti-Reagan rant.(Surprised I did not find an anti-Nixon one too.)"
Oregon Commentator: "I Wonder How Long Till 'RedOregon.com' is Registered" (FYI, Oregon Commentator is a group blog for conservatives.)
Also, BlueOregon has turned up on ConventionBloggers.com, a community site DNC participants, July 26-29.
Finally, over at The American Street, BlueOregon co-founder Jeff Alworth talks about the nature of blogging as a communications medium.

Hmm... grouped with the Oregon Commentator....
Oh well. At least I know that it's not just three parakeets and a sleepy cat reading my blog. Well, and Pablo.
