Urban and Rural Reserves comment period for LCDC ends tomorrow
Carla Axtman
It's not quite "speak now or forever hold your peace", but it's pretty darned close.
If you've got an objection to the Urban and Rural Reserves, tomorrow at 5PM is the deadline to register them with the Oregon Land Conservation and Development folks. Their decision on the Reserves is expected in October.
There's some pretty specific criteria required in order to raise an objection, so you'll want to check out the LCDC "how to" when it comes to filing. In a nutshell, you've got to show that it was screwed up, why it was screwed up and that you participated locally (like contacting Metro or the Counties, giving testimony, etc). Objections must be filed in writing. All the stuff you need to know is here, so go forth.

Working on it, Dominic. Probably won't have them until tomorrow.
